Breaking Bread’s Easter Feast on April 16
ConText: An Uncommon Bible Study
ConText is a monthly Bible Study and dinner that explores creative and critical ways of reading Scripture with students at Princeton University. Princeton Presbyterians has partnered with Dean Theresa Thames, the Episcopal Church at Princeton, and the Wesley Foundation, to create space for students to ask tough questions, express faith and doubt, and learn from one another through fresh perspectives on the Bible. Len, Andrew, and Julia are grateful for this opportunity to meet students from diverse faith traditions, and to share in meaningful conversations about reading the Word for life in today’s world.
Our next meetings are on March 29, April 26, and May 24. Join us in the Class of 1952 Room in the lower level of Frist Campus Center at 6pm for food and fellowship!
Lenten Art Workshop
The Lenten communion cloth made by members of the Breaking Bread Community during a circle painting workshop. The individual brushstrokes together form a beautiful whole. Likewise, each of us in the Body of Christ has different gifts that we bring to the whole of the Church and the proclamation of the Gospel. Throughout the season of Lent, the time of year when we prepare for Easter, the cover graphic will incrementally represent a closer view of the communion cloth, just as we journey in this theme of Shalom from the cosmic to the deeply personal.
